Wow!
I have been on a journey..a long intense mindblowing experience. In this time a lot of things was revealed to me about me. The knowledge I gained has moved me from a depressed sensitive emotional individual to a confident happy positive inspiring individual. As I walked in this path of self awareness it was easy for me to say No to negative relationships and embrace positive ones.I got rid of ” guilt feelings and weaknesses”. I see my life better each day.brighter and I am determined to make change. I appreciate love and people love me.”
At work- the staff are happy to work with me and now its a battle for managers and other leaders to work with them..they all want me. I have empowered mothers in the ward to embrace their babies….showed them ways to connect to the grewing foetus..I hvent had a baby that died on my shift… I had the opportunity to manage a ward and influence change and embrace new management of patients on induction in pregnancy. With such limited resources midwives were now more empowered to care for these moms to be…I have all these wonderful ideas that seem to flow from my mind and I put it to practice. I have encouraged mums to be positive. To fight infectious disease by accepting their illness….combating the disease…and love themself and the baby….all I can say is well done…the task was rewarding when I see a frail women walk out demanding discharge as she feels better.Everyday there is a challenge and the nurses ,patients have such appreciation to be with me….the list goes on.
My opinion is that every nurse and doctor needs this workshop…it helps to sensitize and become a human being. I am thankful for the workshop as I learnt that the power of love is far more greater than anything. Thank you Ashika for helping me open this door….I have been guiding .mentoring and coaching people ever since…..I am seen as a friend.a team mate a leader.
My personal life is better everyday.i am always smiling and happy..i remain positive. Love is all around and now I found a way to show it.
