Physical fitness plays a large part in our mental & physical wellbeing. It is hard not be at peace with the world after a good run or walk on the beach or in the forest or park. You expose your mind to the sounds and sights of nature, you breathe in fresh, clean air, you feel the freedom of having plenty of space around you and you increase your heartbeat, sending healing, oxygenated blood pumping around your whole body. Stress and worry fall away and you can open up spiritually – when you do this with others, profound connections are made.

At OGGI we don’t just make fitness gear for seasoned athletes, we make for those just starting out on their journey. We specialise in all shapes and sizes and if we don’t have something in our range that allows you to go out there looking and feeling great – we can custom make for you. If you are comfortable in your activewear you will be so much more likely to slip into it and actually go out and burn some calories.

We specialize in Kids UV protective swimwear and have sunsuits from 3 months. Pop in to our cnr store in Harfield Village and check out our locally made ranges. We design styles for real people and we spend a lot of time to get the fit right so that each garment is really flattering and comfortable.

We also custom make for designers, schools, clubs and even just that one off costume to suit your shape.

Owner and designer for OGGI , Gail Brown, believes that when it comes to activewear, comfort & fit come before all else. “ It’s hard to run your best race if your underarm is chaffed raw or hold that Yoga pose while your pants slowly slide down.

The idea is translated into a drawing, a pattern and then the sample. Each stage is worked by an artist in their trade and they all have input, it’s time consuming and at times, a frustrating process when technical production requirements hamper creative design details. Designs are sometimes trashed at this point, as either the design cannot be smoothly produced or the cost factor is too high. Then it’s back to the drawing board to repeat the process until a viable sample is road tested, approved and ready to grade for production. It’s a process and the final reward is a happy client
