Initial Consultation

In order to devise a comprehensive treatment plan a proper diagnosis needs to be made so that we can advise on the optimal way not to just treat the immediate problem and optimize any systemic imbalances that could be effecting the oral health of a patient.

The initial consultation consists of:

Dentoalveolar Surgery – simple and complicated extractions, including impacted with teeth. Local or general anaesthesia (we use operating theatre at Rosebank Hospital)

Implantology – single and multiple placement of Implants including prosthodontic reconstruction including full mouth reconstruction

Periodontal Surgery – treatment of infected gums – gingivitis and periodontitis (parodontosis)

Orthodontics – specializing in Invisiline and removable ortho therapy

Painless Dentistry – local anaesthesia (topical local followed by the wand) or oral sedation. Acupuncture as a sedation on request.

Treatment of myofacial pain related to stress, due to clenching or grinding of teeth.
At present due to CO19 Anxiety, Depression is at alarming stage.

Paediatric Dentistry – treatment of children in chair or at dental surgery with safe oral sedation, general anaesthesia in case of babies or help of anaesthetist can be organised on request

Prosthodontic Rehabilitation – crown and bridge work, removable dentures, screw-retained over-dentures, veneers. All our reconstructive work uses biocompatible materials that are certified metal-free and will not result in any toxicity to the patient.

Complementary Treatments

Dr. Maria’s work is thorough, gentle, and profound. She takes photographs of every tooth and every job she does, and only takes x-rays if necessary. If you are health conscious and do not want to use medication, speak to her about alternative options, she has helped us in many alternative ways. I have now had 8 amalgum fillings replaced over a couple of years. She has saved my husband’s life; where the op took about 6 hours to restore his situation. We are very thankful and pleased with the work she has done for the both of us.

She has only given us years of excellent service and if it was not for the extra care she has taken with one of my teeth especially which I almost lost, I would have lost the tooth. It is worth mentioning her practice is exceptionally clean and works with clean protocols. I just came back from my last check-in during the Covid-19 pandemic and I can assure you that only the strictest measures are taken to care for her patients at all times. She has an excellent assistant who is in my opinion very knowledgeable and helpful and the both of them make an excellent team. They always make the trip to the dentist less fearful. I know when I am on the chair I am in the best hands.

Finding a proper holistic dentist such as Dr. Maria is far and few in between. Again, I highly recommend her work. She is very legit and commendable.
